A Halfway House Christmas on VH1
Scenes from A Halfway House Christmas featuring the song, Morning Has Come, written by Matt Lundgren and Dan Attlerud aired on VH1's "100 Greatest Teen Stars".
Robert Romanus (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Young And The Restless, Will & Grace) who plays Daryl was featured in this VH1 episode. He is ranked number 96 on the "100 Greatest Teen Star" list.
Unfortunately Morning Has Come was not performed during the episode.
Morning Has Come, performed by the Allhelgona Motet Choir, is the first song off the Tiny Angels - Songs Of Christmas Joy CD to be licensed.
If you haven't heard Morning Has Come, please visit our Song Catalog or the Tiny Angels - Songs Of Christmas Joy CD page.
Bar/Girl Songs?
Trace Adkins' Honky Tonk Badonkadonk, Brooks & Dunn's Play Something Country, Toby Keith's As Good As I Once Was and Neil McCoy's Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On are just some of the bar/girl songs making it to the top of the country music and video charts.
What are bar/girl songs you ask? When you watch their video's, they're singing in a bar and have a lot of girls dancing around!
Do you have a bar/girl song? If so, we'd like to hear. Please mark your package with "Bar/Girl Songs."
Pitching More To Independent Labels
As you will see on our Independent Label Song Needs page, we are really pushing the indie label. We are pitching to some of the more established indie labels with artist that have a following.
It's time for us to change gears a bit and focus on quality indie artist that have potential to make sales. This will give us an edge when dealing with the major labels. Our goal is to get cuts that will generate royaties.
Memo To Music Industry: Fans Say Cut Your Prices, Make Better Music
Poll reveals music fans don't illegally download but think CDs are too pricey
Associated Press
David Bauder
Music executives love to blame illegal downloading for their industry's woes. But, based on the results of a new nationwide poll, they might want to look in the mirror.
Song Needs
We have added 23 new songs to our Independent Label Song Needs page. As we stated above, we are pushing the indie route more aggressively. Our Major Label Song Needs listing is still current. These artist are still working on their next release. We will post any new major label song needs as they become available.
We are looking for more songs with female vocals. Our indie label song needs page is heavy on female songs.
We are looking to increase our song submissions and sign at least three to four songs a month. Please visit our Song Catalog and listened to the current songs.

Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund is an annual grant awarded to emerging film and video artists in the state of Texas. Funded through revenues from benefit film premieres and private and corporate donations, the TFPF is our effort to redress the loss of public funds for filmmakers. Since 1996 the Austin Film Society has awarded $550,000 to over 190 film and video projects.
Awards are provided to artists whose work shows promise, skill, and creativity. In August, an independent panel of highly esteemed professionals from the national film community convene in Austin to review applications and administer awards. Award announcements are posted on our website at the conclusion of the panel session and grant disbursements are made in early September.
