We're Back In Action!
We are back in full swing after a well needed rest. We have updated our web sites so take a moment to check out what's new. All new subscribers to our newsletter have been added and will start receiving our periodic newsletters. Song pitching will be in full effect starting immediately. Film production and script writing will resume as well. We'll post any new developments as they become available. Check back frequently!!

'Songs Needed' Lists Updated
Our Songs Needed lists have been updated. Both the Major Labels and Indie Labels lists are current. You can start submitting your songs per these lists. Please insure that your songs do fit the song descriptions. Please note that there are only a few major label entries that carried over from our previous list. They are marked with a † symbol and the old number [i.e., † (ML-#)].
Recent Signings
Our most recent addition to our catalog is Church For Sale written by Donna Aylor and Ben Krahne. Take a moment and visit our Song Catalog and listen to their song.
Song Submissions
We've finally listened to all 258 songs that were submitted over the last few months. It's been a exhausting task giving each song a fair listen. We did pick a few that we are interested in and these songwriters will be notified this week. We will also send an e-mail out to those we passed on just to let them know. We typically do not notify the songwriter when we pass on their songs. It's very time consuming and we'd rather say, "if you don't hear from us, it's a pass". This time around it's an exception.

Song Replacement For The Spin Cycle
We have decided to start searching for a replacement song for placement in our short film, The Spin Cycle. We currently have Don William's It Must Be Love licensed for use in this film. Due to the extremely high licensing fees, we've decided to search for a compatible song that we can license at a more reasonable fee and give an independent, up and coming songwriter or band a chance to get their song in this film. There are plans to seek distribution but there is no guarantee we will get it.
This project is new so more details about compensation and specific song needs will be posted very soon.
Jessie's Dream Snake Music Update
Music cues for Jessie's Dream Snake is still an on-going project. We've received a ton of submissions, but as of today, only two songs have stuck out and are on our "to be considered" list. We'll continue to accept submissions for this film and will let the songwriters know if their song will be placed on our list. We will only respond to those who's songs are chosen for consideration. If you do not hear back from us within 30 day, it means your song was passed on.
Final Give-A-Way Update
Our last Give-A-Way was April and the winner was never announced so here is the winner:
Carl Schwitzer
Carl won the "Gift Certificate To Your Favorite Local Restaurant" prize.
As many of you already know, the Give-A-Way was canceled after just four months due to extremely low participation. Less than 1% of our subscribers entered the free drawing so we decided it wasn't worth the time.
Nonetheless, all four of the winners are eligible for the Demo Studio Package that will be announced towards the end of the year. We'll let everyone know more details as we get closer to that time.

The Funeral Singer Is Getting Attention!
Jamie's most recent short script, The Funeral Singer, ranked in the top 5 in the Reel Women's 2006 Short Script Contest. The script also was rated the #1 script on Francis Ford Coppala's American Zoetrope site for the month of May. Jenn Garrison is slated to direct this unique short.
The Spin Cycle Makes The 'Red Wasp Film Festival'
The Spin Cycle still has life as it is an official selection of the 4th Annual Red Wasp Film Festival. The Red Wasp Film Festival takes place in Bryan, TX
on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21. Beginning at 8 PM each evening, the festival will screen at three main venues throughout downtown Bryan: Conlee Auctions (601 Bryan St.), Revolution Cafe (211B South Main St., in Carnegie Alley) & upstairs at Caffe Capri (222 N. Main St.).
Tickets for the event will be available each evening at Conlee Auctions. Tickets can be purchased for each night at $15/night or for both nights at $25.
The Red Wasp Film Festival is the 11th festival selection for The Spin Cycle.
Jessie's Dream Snake Movie Update
The Jessie's Dream Snake film is still in post-production. We are gearing up for a script reading, revising our investment package and meeting with our director and attorney to discuss our next stage in production.
More info will be available on our Spin Cycle Films site as it becomes available.
